Jennifer Moore is the Firm’s newest edition. Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from the Howard University School of Law in 2017. While in law school, she served as Vice President of her class and as Captain of the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Team, where she received numerous awards for her oral advocacy and trial skills. She also represented juveniles in delinquency proceedings before the Superior Court of the District of Columbia as part of D.C. Law Students in Court (now known as Rising for Justice), and participated in the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project as a fellow teaching constitutional law and oral advocacy at Luke C. Moore High School in the District of Columbia. In 2014, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University, where she studied Political Science and received honors in African American & Diaspora Studies.

Prior to joining the Firm, Jennifer worked as a senior litigation associate at an Am Law 200 national law firm based in Birmingham, AL (Maynard Nexsen PC). Jennifer’s targeted addition will further enhance the Firm’s trial advocacy depth, as well as the Firm’s overall litigation capabilities, in the areas of business disputes, employment litigation, and wrongful death/catastrophic injury defense.

A proud Birmingham native and graduate of Ramsay High School, Jennifer is very active in her church and community beyond her legal work, and her addition to the Firm further highlights its commitment to community service. Jennifer participated in the Upward Momentum Class 5, a program designed to develop intentional career paths and build strong relationships across the Birmingham metro area with women in the early stages of their professional careers. She volunteers with Girls, Incorporated of Central Alabama, is involved with the Rotaract Club of Birmingham, and serves on the Governing Board of Impact America. In fact, Jennifer was an award-winning member of the SpeakFirst Debate Team, an initiative of Impact America, while a student at Ramsay, qualifying for several national tournaments—a first in the program’s history. Jennifer is also an active member of The Links, Incorporated.
